CSIC held the technical innovation and information meeting ceremoniously in Beijing on Sep.25, where CSIC Chairman and Party Secretary Hu Wenming made an important speech entitled as Fully Build a System of Scientific and Technical Innovation, Spare no Effort to Make an Innovation-type Leading Enterprise, GM Sun Bo presided over the meeting and DGM Du Gang made a work report. The DSIC’s leadership members in Dalian and relevant department heads attended the meeting by video at the parallel session, and Yu Fengping gave a statement on behalf of DSIC during group discussion.
Hu Wenming stresses, based on series of achievements achieved by scientific and technical innovation of CSIC, further implement the innovation-driven development strategy, and fully build a system of technical innovation so as to furnish new drive of development and solid security for CSIC’s transformation and upgrade, quality and efficiency advancement, and bigger and stronger growth. CSIC shall establish a great target leaping to the world leading ranks in relevant important scientific field of ocean defense equipment and enhance an impetus of scientific and technical innovation; make great efforts to map out a great pattern to give full play of CSIC’s scientific and technical strengths and to integrate scientific and technical forces domestic and overseas effectively; consolidate CSIC’s resources for technical innovation and highlight overall advantages; blend in the global network of scientific and technical innovation initiatively and grasp, learn and deploy the results of world scientific and technical innovations; actively create an open and shared E-platform of scientific and technical innovations; vigorously strengthen fundamental research, pre-study and cutting-edge technology development; and enhance vigor of scientific and technical innovation by perfecting the management and operating mechanism so as to encourage and support its effective fulfillment.
The first batch of senior talents have been recruited with a letter of appointment issued, a decision to restructure and set up CSIC’s scientific and technical committee announced, and advanced units for 2015 Scientific and Technical Innovations and 12th Five-year Plan Patent Work commended at the meeting, where DSIC has acquired the honorary titles of Advanced Unit for 2015 Scientific and Technical Innovations and Excellent Unit for Patent Licensing & Advanced Unit for Patent Exploitation during the 12th Five-year Plan. DSIC has ranked the first among all assembly yards in the assessment of 2015 scientific and technical innovations by CSIC. DSIC Deputy Chief Engineer Liu Wenmin has been appointed as Senior Technical Expert, Deputy Chief Designer Ren Huaiyuan from Design Institute as Technical Expert, and Senior Welding Technician Zhu Xianbo from Non-ship Business Unit as Senior Technical Specialist respectively.
