The 12th Shiptec China was cosponsored by CHINA ASSOCIATION OF THE NATIONAL SHIPBUILDING INDUSTRY (CANSI), CHINA SHIPOWNERS’ ASSOCIATION (CSA) and The Chinese Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (CSNAME) on October 25-28 at Dalian World Expo Center. Sunbo, General Manager of CSIC, Jiang Renfeng, Deputy General Manager of CSIC, Yu Fengping, General Manager of DSIC, and Cai Zhuyi, Chief Engineer of DSIC, attended the Opening Ceremony.
SHIPTEC CHINA 2016 was held with the theme of “Innovation and development, army-civilian integration, ship enterprises revitalization, green ocean”, and has attracted more than 600 exhibiting companies from more than 20 countries and areas such as China, Korea, Japan, Norway, Denmark, Netherland, Germany etc.. 32 subsidiary companies of CSIC including DSIC presented the group exhibition of nearly 1000 square meters exhibition area with numerous S&T innovation product in collective appearance, which focused on displaying the overall image and comprehensive strength of CSIC.
On the opening ceremony of Oct. 25th, DSIC released the research achievement of upgraded HCSR VLCC structure and improved ship type of VLCC. The chief engineer of DSIC, Cai Zhuyi hosted the release.
To meet the HCSR requirements issued by IACS, DSIC has associated with CCS and adopted the analysis software developed by CCS to complete the whole ship structure specification check and inite element analysis of cargo area for 319,000dwt VLCC, the overall upgrade of whole VLCC structure design and basic structure engineering drawings which conform to the requirements of latest HCSR in GBS standard, and obtained AIP certification issued by CCS.
The Upgraded VLCC latest developed by DSIC possesses safer hull structure, and meets the requirements of the strictest international laws, regulations & conventions about environmental protection and emission reduction with various performance indicators as the world's advanced level and EEDI of which achieved requirements of second stage. DSIC will keep researching and developing green energy-saving and intelligent application to achieve more new breakthroughs and make large oil tanker safer, more economic and efficient.
During the exhibition, the leaders from relevant state ministries and commissions, CANSI, CSNAME and CSIC have visited the areas of Ship and Marine equipment, Motivation and Supporting Facilities, and Military-Civilian Integration Technology area sponsored by DSIC and Liaoning province for the first show.
