On April 26th, DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Company Limited held the naming and delivery ceremony for the second 388,000-ton bulk carrier built for SINOTRANS Shipping LTD after the first ship "Da Mei". Xie Shaohua, the Deputy General Manager of SINOTRANS Shipping LTD, Cai Zhuyi, the Deputy General Manager of China Shipbuilding & Offshore International Company Limited, Qiu Zhijian, the Deputy General Manager of Qinhuangdao Branch of China Classification Society, and Yao Hongshan, the Member of Party Committee of DSIC and  General Manager of Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Company Limited attended the ceremony. Ms. Huang Meng, a guest, named the ship “Da Li”.

“Da Li” is a ship with a total length of 180 meters, a width of 32 meters, a depth of 15 meters, and with a speed of 13.8 knots, an endurance of 18,000 nautical miles, and cargo holds about 50,500 cubic meters. It is a ship of a new generation of energy - saving and environment - friendly type. The 38,800-ton bulk carrier project is the first cooperation between DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Company Limited and SINOTRANS Shipping LTD. The successful delivery of “Da Li” was the result of mutual trust, solidarity and cooperation between the two sides. DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Company Limited will spare no efforts to strive for perfection, to ensure the smooth delivery of subsequent ships, and to create a series of quality projects for the shipowners. At the same time, we will continue to work hand in hand with SINOTRANS Shipping LTD to enhance mutual trust, expand cooperation areas, optimize cooperation mechanisms and achieve mutual benefits.
