On Feb.15, CSIC GM Sun Bo accompanied CPPCC member, former Exim Bank of China Party Secretary, Chairman and President Li Ruogu to make an investigation in DSIC, followed by DSIC leaders Liu Zheng, Yu Fengping, Xiao Shi, Ding Yi, Hu Jianzhong and Financing Departmental heads.
Li and his party went deep into production sites, viewing DSIC’s production facilities and construction situations of relevant projects in detail, listening to report on related status, and making friendly exchanges with relevant project leaders and technical staff to understand production rhythm and efficiency. They viewed the whole course of launching one 113k DWT product carrier and spoke highly of its building period, nice-looking shipbuilding and performance indices. Meanwhile, centering on relevant hot lines, such as international shipping and shipbuilding market trend, terrain faced by ship export, enterprise capacity merger and restructuring, and implementation of central government’s supply-side reform strategic deployment, they made in-depth exchanges and broad discussion with DSIC leaders.
Li Ruogu expressed, DSIC is the backbone of China shipbuilding industry and the cradle of naval warships, which has, in recent years, achieved remarkable achievements and made outstanding contribution to national defense construction and China rejuvenation. He wishes DSIC could make persistent effort in full reform, tackling tough and innovative promotion so as to boost enterprise core competence continually.
